Most Dangerous Threats to the Buffalo Olmsted Parks:

• Peace Bridge bridgehead and related roadwork, Front Park.
• City Hall political interference into Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy operations, System-wide. 
• Grafitti and vandalism, System-wide.
• Continued operation of NYS Route 98 as an expressway, Delaware Park.
• Lack of long-term utilization plan for Casino, Cazenovia Park.
• Permanent structure for Shakespeare in the Park, Delaware Park.

Restoration Opportunities in the Buffalo Olmsted Parks:

• Olmsted Park Master Plan, System-wide.
• Downgrading of the Scajaquada Expressway, Delaware Park.
• McMillan monument restoration, Delaware Park.
• Complete park restoration, Bennett Park.
• Relocation of bus loop and restoration of former Lackawanna High School parking area, South Park.
• Removal of former police radio station, Delaware Park.
• Pedestrian Bridge contruction, Cazenovia Park.
• Re-creation of Minnow Pool, Riverside Park. (Planning underway.)
• Re-creation of Spire House, Delaware Park.
• Land expansion, including golf course relocation, South Park.
• Non-contributing structure minimization by use of foliage screening and repainting of bright surfaces in muted forest and earth tones, Casenovia and Riverside Parks. 
• Re-watering of part, or all, of the Cazenovia Park lake, Cazenovia Park.
